Kayenta received her BFA from the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design in 2D Animation and focused her electives on Illustration. Her art focuses on her American and Māori heritage, and exploring difficult concepts through simple stories. She won her school's Memorial scholarship two years in a row and graduated with honors and Summa Cum Laude. Her ultimate goal is to help create meaningful stories that inspire the rising generation for good. She now lives in Gold Coast, Australia.

Since graduating she has completed a historical painting for the Redlands Youth Society, been commissioned to work on a kid's activity book, designed a set of affirmation cards, and more. Thank you for reading!
